In 2023, Michael and Lori Olson decided to open a pumpkin patch in the heart of Bakersfield. Mike has been a firefighter in Bakersfield for over 15 years and Lori has been a realtor here locally for over 20 years. The Olson’s wanted to bring a family friendly patch to the community with inflatables, live music, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, costume contests, Pumpkins, with fun and games. The Olson‘s have had Frostys Forest TREE LOT in Bakersfield since 2009 and wanted to expand their business to include a pumpkin patch. Alongside their children, Mike and Lori plan to keep The Patch operating on yearly basis and continuing to offer a wide variety of pumpkins, squash, gourds and fun to the community.
“It is our mission to provide a safe, fun environment for all families in Bakersfield through the Holiday seasons.”
